Fruity Fruit Salad
Makes a great healthy snack, add watermelon or any fruit you prefer, here's my version.
A healthy work lunch or snack? At home and feeling a craving for something sweet? Makes a healthy snack any time of the day or add some ice cream and custard for a dessert, try it with the kids! You can add watermelon or any fruit you prefer.
A refreshing fruit salad!
I usually have it for lunch or half a serving as a snack. If I want something healthy, I don't add cinnamon sugar, though it has a really nice spicy aroma to it. To make cinnamon sugar: Mix equal parts of sugar and cinnamon together.
I like kiwi fruit, but it’s a hassle to peel. That’s before I discovered this life hack, I’ll share below.
RECIPE
Makes 1 Serve
Preparation & Cooking Time: Roughly 10 Minutes
INGREDIENTS
1/2 a Kiwi Fruit
1/2 a Banana
1/2 a Pear
1/2 an Apple
1/2 a Dragon Fruit
1/4 a Rock Melon
Cinnamon Sugar to taste
DIRECTIONS
Cut the kiwi in half and use a spoon to go around the inside, then lift it out. It should come out cleanly, like this:
Slice the banana into 2cm slices. Dice the pear and apple into 2cm cubes.
Cut the dragon fruit lengthwise, then into 2x3cm chunks. They’re larger than apples and pears since they’re squishier and falls apart easily. Cut your rock melon lengthwise. Then, make 1-2cm cubes. Mix the fruit. You can eat it simply, or add cinnamon sugar, some ice cream and custard to make a delicious dessert. Enjoy!
