Tasty Tacos

Tasty tacos made timelier from a Taco Kit! Also, with an extra kick!

I use a Taco Kit. It makes tacos for dinner easier and quicker than making your own salsa since you usually need to buy the tacos and seasoning anyways. I always use beef mince (or ground beef if you’re American) since this is how I had them growing up and its one of my favourite at home dinners. This will bring back memories from your childhood if you ever had Taco Nights.

Taco Nights made quick with an extra kick!

My secret is adding some Chef’s Bestest Buffalo sauce into the salsa, it's not spicy but gives it that extra spice. You can add your favourite chilli or hot sauce.

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Mix the salsa with Chef’s Bestest Buffalo Sauce or your hot sauce. Refrigerate.

Slice the lettuce. Slice the tomatoes. Grate your cheese. Refrigerate the lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 180°C

Put some oil in a frying pan. Once it's heated, brown the mince, breaking it up with the spoon as you cook it. Put the tacos in the oven. They don't take long, so check them every few minutes. Once the mince has browned, drain it. Add the mince, water, and seasoning to the pan. Once the seasoning is thick, place the mince in a serving bowl.

Place the ingredients on a table and let everyone build their own tacos! I like mine with mince on the bottom then cheese, salsa, lettuce and tomato on top. Enjoy!
